Experience Required: 2 years to less than 3 years

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and locate equipment faults, and adjust, replace or repair telecommunications equipment
• Maintain and use tools and equipment properly, including software to track repair tickets and inventory.
• Resolve product and service problems by clarifying customer's complaints.
• Explain customers of the repair services and any repair information about their device and provide quotes for the repairs.
• Inspect operation of telecommunications equipment
• Install, arrange, remove and maintain telephone equipment, wiring and associated hardware
• Repair or replace defective telephone equipment
• Analyze test results and adjust, change or repair switching system, network, associated equipment and software
• Complete and maintain test and service reports
• Determine nature, cause and location of trouble.
