We require 2 Carpenters for our company.
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time
Wage Rate: $38.50 Hourly (32-35 Hours per week)
Over Time Wage: $55.12 per hour
Number of Vacancies: 2
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Location: Various Locations over lower mainland Fraser Valley ,Victoria Nanaimo and other surrounding areas
Languages: Basic Knowledge of English is required.
Requirements:
• Completion of High School
• 2-3 years of work experience in the trade

Job Duties:
• Carpenter should be able to Interpret and read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Able to use measuring tools to prepare layouts according to the client needs.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
• Able to fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware.
• Estimate the material costs for clients.
• Able to do the proper finishing on wood article shapes and paint properly.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding
