Job Duties:

• Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts, etc.) aiming to maintain vehicle functionality and longevity.
• Explain repairs to customers, the general condition, and provide estimates for unanticipated repairs.
• Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues like brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors, cooling and climate control, emission control, and exhaust using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment.
• Communicate with the supervisor on a regular basis about work performed, necessary changes, new parts needed, or any other concerns related to repair or maintenance work.
• Follow all safety requirements and local and federal standards when disposing of toxic materials.
• Assist customers who need repairs by ordering parts, diagnosing problems, performing vehicle operation tests, and installing new components.
• Inspect the vehicle's computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain, and upgrade.
• Inspect the vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
• Keep accurate records of inspections, repairs performed, and parts used during service operations.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with manufacturer's specifications, company standards, and workplace safety regulations.

Job Requirements:

• Completion of Secondary School is required.
• Post-secondary education / or a minimum of 6 months in the same field is required.
