Amandeep Grewal is seeking a reliable and experienced Live-in Caregiver to provide personal care and support to a person with disabilities in a private home setting in Brampton, Ontario. The successful candidate will provide direct care, assist with daily living activities, support personal hygiene, prepare meals, and help maintain a safe, clean, and respectful home environment.
Language Requirement
English
Asset Languages
Hindi and Punjabi are considered assets.
Education Requirement
College, CEGEP, or equivalent non-university certificate or diploma.
Experience Requirement
3 years to less than 5 years of relevant caregiving experience.
Work Setting
The work will be performed in the employer’s/client’s home. This is an on-site position with no remote work option.
Main Duties
The caregiver will be responsible for the following duties:
Administer bedside and personal care.
Assist with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
Assist with regular exercise, including walking.
Feed or assist in feeding.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
Cook meals according to the client’s needs.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
Launder clothing and household linens.
Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment.
Credentials Required
The following certificates are required or may be requested:
Acquired Brain Injury Certificate.
Applied Behaviour Analysis Certificate.
CPR Certificate.
First Aid Certificate.
Target Client Group
Persons with disabilities.
Kindergarten-age children, where applicable.
Security and Safety Requirements
Criminal record check.
References confirming relevant experience.
Work Conditions and Physical Requirements
The position may involve bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, standing, walking, repetitive tasks, and standing for extended periods. The work may be physically demanding. The caregiver must be able to handle weight up to 23 kg.

The ideal candidate must be punctual, dependable, patient, honest, organized, flexible, reliable, and client-focused. The candidate must have good judgment, strong interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication skills, initiative, and the ability to work respectfully in a private home setting.
