Job Description:
• Look after and monitor children in the family’s home or the caregiver’s home.
• Help children with daily care, including bathing, getting dressed, and eating.
• Mix and prepare baby formula and change infants’ diapers when needed.
• Organize and cook meals for the children and assist with light household chores.
• Follow the parents’ instructions to manage children’s daily schedules, including meals and nap times.
• Keep the living space clean, safe, and healthy for the children.
• Teach children proper hygiene practices, such as washing hands and brushing teeth.
• Support children’s emotional needs and encourage positive social behaviour.
• Manage behaviour using discipline methods approved by the parents.
• Plan learning and play activities suitable for the child’s age, including games, crafts, reading, and outings.
• Accompany children to school, activities, and medical or other appointments.
• If required, document daily routines and health details for each child.
