Salary: $37.00 per hour
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Work location(s): Various job sites in Surrey BC and other areas of Lower Mainland (BC) areas, and Fraser Valley as per the company’s contracts with its clients.
Job duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings, perform calculations, and prepare layouts.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials such as wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, channels and other materials.
- Work on new buildings, renovations, and additions to existing wooden structures in various stages of construction.
- Construct foundations, install floor beams, subflooring, wall systems, partitions and finish surfaces of woodwork.
- Secure framing components using screws, anchors, and fastening systems to concrete, wood, or structural steel.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings and hardware components.
- Supervise other construction workers at the site.
Position Requirements:
- Completion of an apprenticeship program in a relevant trade or Minimum 3 years of experience in the trade is required
- Ability to communicate in English

- Financial assistance for relocation from other provinces or regions will be provided up to $1000.00 for qualified candidates.
