Job Overview

Decor-Rest Furniture Ltd. is seeking a skilled and reliable Framer-Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structural frameworks and wood-based components in accordance with specifications and industry standards.

Salary

$36.00 to $40.00 per hour (to be negotiated)
30 to 40 hours per week

Work Schedule

Flexible schedule including:
Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, and On-call shifts

Start Date

As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and shape wood materials using hand and power tools.
• Construct and assemble wooden furniture frames according to design specifications.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings for accurate production.
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Repair or replace damaged wooden components in furniture pieces.
• Operate woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.
• Ensure proper alignment, fitting, and fastening of components.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support production flow.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.
• Follow workplace safety guidelines and company procedures at all times.

Requirementa

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• 2 to less than 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents
• Attention to detail and accuracy

Work Environment

• On-site position (no remote work option)
• Physically demanding work environment
