Food Service Supervisor (NOC 62020)

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our Baskin Robbins and Kernels Popcorn location in North York. The candidate will ensure smooth store operations, maintain quality standards, and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff preparing ice cream products, popcorn, and other food items
• Ensure proper portioning, presentation, and quality control of all products
• Train staff in customer service, hygiene, and food safety procedures
• Manage inventory of ingredients, supplies, and packaging materials
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve issues professionally
• Prepare daily sales reports and maintain records of stock and wastage
• Ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations
• Schedule staff shifts and monitor attendance
• Support store opening and closing procedures

Employment Requirements:

• Completion of a college diploma (1–2 years) in hospitality/food service OR equivalent experience
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service industry
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
