Languages: English
Education:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

1 year to less than 2 years

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses- Provincial Pesticide Applicator Licence, Working at Heights Certification (Ontario MOL approved), Valid Class G Driver’s License with clean driving record

Tasks

  • Conduct Inspections: Perform thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and industrial properties to identify pest infestations and assess damage.
  • Develop Customized Solutions: Create detailed pest management plans tailored to each property based on inspection findings.
  • Apply Pest Treatments: Safely apply various pest control treatments, including chemical solutions, traps, and fumigation, to eliminate pests such as rodents, insects, and wildlife.
  • Wildlife Removal: Set and monitor traps for wildlife, including raccoons, squirrels, and skunks, ensuring safe and humane removal.
  • Preventative Measures: Advise clients on how to prevent future infestations by recommending environmental changes, sealing entry points, and implementing sanitation improvements.
  • Customer Communication: Clearly explain treatment plans, timelines, and expected outcomes to clients. Provide cost estimates and maintain professional communication at all times.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Provide detailed reports of services rendered, including treatment methods, follow-up recommendations, and any areas requiring future attention.
  • Follow-Up Services: Conduct follow-up visits as necessary to ensure the effectiveness of treatments and make adjustments to pest management plans.
  • Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all environmental and safety regulations regarding pest control practices, ensuring the safety of both clients and employees
  • Working at Heights: Perform rooftop and other elevated work, including seagull egg removal and wildlife control on commercial buildings, using ladders and bucket trucks as required.
