Responsibilities
Tasks
- Provides guest satisfaction by cooking menu items to meet food quality and timing standards.
- Plates dishes with intention ensuring they are visually appealing.
- Measures, portions and prepares ingredients according to recipes.
- Marinates, grills, slices and cooks meats and protein to specifications.
- Follows food preparation and cooking guides to ensure meals are served to guests consistently.
- Ensures a smooth service by monitoring prepared inventory.
- Complete the opening and/or closing checklists to ensure the kitchen is setup for service and following food safety requirements.
- Completes food preparation with minimal wastage by using ingredients based on proper rotation and according to recipe specifications.
- Verifies the quality and quantity of delivered items and ingredients.
- Adheres to shipping requirements when fulfilling orders, sending orders out and receiving orders.
- Cleans and sanitizes all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in a timely manner.
- Emphasizes the safety, sanitation and security awareness when working with urgency.
- Keeps storage places organized ensuring all supplies are visible most frequently used items are not on top shelves.
