Location: 2354 rocky lake road, Waverley, NS B2R 1R5
Work location: On site
Salary: 21.00 hourly / 30 to 35 hours per week
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time
Start Date:Starts as soon as possible

Job Requirements
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Tasks

• Assist carpenters and framers with preparing work areas, tools, and materials.
• Carry, load, and move lumber, plywood, and framing materials on construction sites.
• Support framing activities by holding beams, studs, and boards as directed.
• Load and unload construction materials and equipment from delivery vehicles.
• Clean and maintain work areas by removing debris and scrap materials.
• Assist with measuring and marking materials under supervision.
• Use basic hand tools such as hammers and measuring tapes.
• Help set up temporary supports, barriers, and safety equipment.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
• Perform general construction labour duties as required.
