Looking for an Assistant Manager(full-time) for Squamish Samurai Sushi!

Employer: Squamish Samurai Sushi (operated by Squamish Sushi Inc.)

Position: Assistant Manager

Position Available: 1

Working Conditions:

• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
• Wage: $36.60 per hour
• Working hours: 30-40 hours per week
• Working locations:

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managers and owners for the planning on targets, seasonal promotions, work schedules, inventory managing, and hiring etc.
• Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures.
• Control and monitor inventory and place orders for daily business.
• Assist in building staff work schedules for managers and owners.
• Participate in hiring meetings and interviews.
• Oversee staff training and coach based on their performance.
• Resolve customer complaints.
• Make sure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Training newly hired staff regarding duties etc., if required.

Requirements:

• Language: English
• Education: Completion of high school
• Experience: 3 years of experience in the food service sector including minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
• Must be available to work ALL weekends and holidays
