The Purchaser will:

• Acquire both standard and specialized merchandise, packaged food products, services, required for the company’s operations or resale purposes.
• Analyze the company’s needs and define product or service specifications for goods and supplies to be purchased.
• Request bids, communicate with vendors, and assess quotes to identify the best procurement options.
• Negotiate or finalize contract terms, authorize supplier agreements, or provide recommendations for contract approvals.
• Plan delivery timelines, track order status, and liaise with vendors or internal teams to resolve any supply or delivery issues.
• Recruit, train, and oversee purchasing clerks or administrative staff involved in procurement.

Employment requirement:

• College Diploma in business administration, commerce or economics or in a related field
• Experience as a purchaser or purchasing clerk
• English is a must
