Patient Service Worker
- Location: 100 Renfrew Dr, Suite 110, Markham ON L3R 9R6
 
- Salary: $22.00 hourly/ 30 to 44 hours per week

 Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Responsibilities
- Respond to call signals and assist patients with personal care such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
 
- Deliver meals to patients and provide support with eating as needed, in accordance with their dietary needs.
 
- Weigh, lift, turn, and reposition patients to ensure comfort and prevent injury.
 
- Supervise patient exercise routines and support recreational activities both inside and outside the facility.
 
- Take and record patients’ vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
 
- Monitor and document fluid intake and output, and observe and report changes in patient condition.
 
- Provide first aid in emergency situations within the scope of training and competencies.
 
- Transport patients via wheelchair or stretcher  and collect specimens of patients for diagnostic testing.
 
- Make and change beds, and ensure patient rooms are kept clean, organized, and hygienic.
 
- Monitor stock levels and replenish medical and general supplies to maintain consistent availability.
 
- Assist with the preparation, sanitation, and upkeep of medical instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control standards.
 
- Assemble and operate various types of care-related equipment and perform minor repairs or maintenance when necessary.
 
- Transport patients between care facilities when required.
