Home Child Care Provider (NOC: 44100)

The Gill family is seeking a Full-Time Permanent Child Care Provider for their children.

Location: Coquitlam, BC
Wages: $19.50/hour (30-40 hours/week)

Vacation Pay: 4% of gross salary.

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Job Duties:

• Supervise and care for the child in the absence of parents.
• Bathe, dress, and feed the child; take the child to nearby parks.
• Prepare meals for the child according to parents' instructions and provide care at our residence.
• Oversee the child's activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by parents.
• Assist with the child's personal hygiene and social development.
• Discipline the child according to the methods requested by the parents.
• Maintain a healthy and safe environment in the home.

Personal Skills:

• Reliable, trustworthy, warm, and calm.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Energetic and comfortable with children.
• Flexible schedule: availability for morning and day shifts is required.

Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school.
• Experience in childcare would be an asset.
• CPR/First Aid certification would be an asset.
• Security and Safety: Medical exam required.
