Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, direct and evaluate the operations of establishments engaged in wholesale and retail sales or of departments in such establishments
• Manage staff and assign duties
• Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales
• Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement price and credit policies
• Source and negotiate with vendors when necessary to procure merchandise for resale
• Develop and implement marketing strategies
• Plan budgets, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenues
• Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and issues
• Address staffing requirements, including the hiring, development and retention of staff

Work Location

• The job will be performed in the Mabuhay Foods Ltd located at 3369 Kingsway, Vancouver BC V5R 5K6

Rate of Pay

• You will be paid $40.87 per hour
• Your wages will be paid in Semi-Monthly
• After 12 months of employment your wage will be reviewed and adjusted (if necessary) to meet the prevailing wage rate in our region

Benefits

• You will be entitled to Two (2) weeks of paid vacation per annum
• You will be entitled to Three (5) days of sick leave per annum

  Hour of Work

• Hours of work will be 6 hours a day, 5 days a week (flexible schedule)
• Any hours over 40 hours a week will be paid an overtime rate of at 1.5x the normal rate
