Job Title: Terminal Supervisor – Motor Transport

Salary: $38.10 per hour
Hours: 35 to 60 hours per week

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Terminal Supervisor to join our dynamic team and oversee our motor transport operations.

Job Summary

As a Terminal Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising daily operations at our terminal, including dispatching, scheduling, staff management, and ensuring safety and efficiency in all processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule daily transport and dispatch activities

• Supervise and manage truck drivers, delivery drivers, and support staff (20+ employees)

• Prepare operational and production reports

• Monitor signal and track switch control panels

• Train new employees or arrange training programs

• Recommend personnel actions and coordinate repairs and equipment rentals

• Requisition materials, equipment, and supplies as required

• Ensure all activities comply with safety standards and operational guidelines

Required Qualifications

• College diploma or equivalent experience (1–2 years post-secondary program)

• 1 to less than 2 years of supervisory or dispatching experience in the trucking industry

• Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Valid driver's license

• Must pass a criminal record check

Work Environment & Requirements

• On-site work only (no remote option)

• Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses required

• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment
