Location: Mississauga, ON, L5N 3K5
Work Setting: Employer's home (on-site only)
Position Type: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
Wage: $22.50 per hour

Overview

A professional couple is seeking a compassionate and responsible Home Childcare Worker to care for their children during the day while they are at work. The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment, supporting the children’s well-being and development.

Languages Required

• English

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or Equivalent experience

Experience

• 1 to less than 7 months of relevant childcare experience

Work Setting

• The work must be performed at the employer’s residence.
• No remote work option is available.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for children in the employer’s home
• Tend to the emotional well-being of children
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• Organize activities such as games and outings for children
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
