About the duties
- Promote and sell MMA, PMMA, MS and Light Guide Plate, ensuring that technical specifications and client needs are fully addressed.
- Identify client requirements and recommend appropriate products and solutions, providing expert consultation on product performance, industrial applications, and compatibility with existing production systems.
- Develop, maintain, and grow long-term business relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and end-users in the chemical and plastics sectors to expand the company’s client base and market presence.
- Prepare and deliver detailed product presentations, technical proposals, quotations, and contractual documentation that align with the clients’ operational and technical needs.
- Consult with clients post-sale to provide technical support, resolve issues, and ensure optimal use and satisfaction with the products supplied.
- Monitor industry trends and market developments, identify emerging customer needs, and provide feedback to management and suppliers to guide product improvements and innovations.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and service agreements with clients and suppliers while ensuring profitability and maintaining compliance with internal pricing policies.
- Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers, including exclusive overseas partners, to ensure timely delivery, inventory alignment, and up-to-date product knowledge.
- Maintain records of client interactions, transactions, and follow-ups using internal CRM systems and generate regular reports on sales activity and market conditions.
- Participate in trade shows, industry conferences, and professional networking events to promote the company’s products and identify new business opportunities.
About the requirements
- A college diploma or university degree is required, preferably in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, industrial engineering, chemical sales, or a related technical field.
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in technical sales, preferably within the chemical sector.
- Proven experience in consultative B2B sales, handling technical product lines, and working with industrial or manufacturing clients.
- Familiarity with MMA/PMMA/MS products is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret technical specifications, communicate complex concepts to clients, and develop long-term customer relationships.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales productivity tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement and negotiation.
