Food Processing Skills of Canada (FPSC), along with various provincial associations and regional representatives, will provide solutions to address the workforce challenges in Canada’s food and beverage processing sector by improving foundational and transferable skills of essential food industry workers within the Canadian Agri food supply chain, and by designing and implementing a nationally pre-tested training program focused on social emotional learning and essential and foundational skills that align with the Skills for Success (SFS) model. FPSC will develop and deliver tools, resources, and training programs, in both official languages, to employers and employees.
The project's specific objectives are to:
(a) Attend meetings to ensure client & program communications are clear
(b) Introduce Food & Beverage Manufacturing Processors to the We Feed Canada: Skills for Success for Essential Workers program (STAC for frontline workers)
(c) Encourage Employer (ER) to Apply
(d) Encourage Registration form being completed
(e) Follow-up with Employer on Registration Form – update team during weekly Work in Progress (WIP) meetings and/or as required
(f) Perform Needs Assessment using Needs Assessment Tool and send document to We Feed Canada: Skills for Success for Essential Workers Project Coordinator to create Partnership Agreement.
(g) Send completed Partnership Agreement to ER and update Project Coordinator & Project Manager when signed.
(h) Pre-registration message with Primary Contacts
(i) Pre-registration message with ERs, Associations
(j) Attend Work In Progress (WIP) meetings, connect with ER on their company progress throughout the duration of the program
(k) Other tasks as may be assigned to the Contractor by the Company from time to time (collectively, the “Services”).
Scope of Work:
The following activities and deliverables must be completed and delivered to FPSC by March 31, 2026. Deliverables are required primarily in English (bilingual support is preferred).
