Education:  Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate

Experience:  7 months or less than 1 year

On Site:  Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities:

Tasks:

• Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations.
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
• Load and unload goods.
• Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Perform brake adjustments.
• Perform pre-trip, on-route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
• Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo.

Credentials:

Certificate, Licenses, Memberships, and Courses

• AZ Class License

Experience and Specialization:

Documentation Knowledge

• Accident or Incident Reports
• Driver logbook
• Inspection Report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
• Maintenance and Repair Reports
• Trans-border Documentation

• Tractor-trailer A train

• Long-Haul
