Job Title: Home Child Care Provider
Job Type: Full-time
Work Hours: 30 hours per week (6 hours/day)
Wage: $20.00 per hour
Work Setting: Employer’s home (Staff accommodation and room & board provided)

Education & Experience Requirements

College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience

Minimum 2 years to less than 3 years of related experience

Work Environment

Non-smoking household

Scent-free environment

Job Responsibilities

Assume full responsibility for household in the absence of parents

Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

Shop for groceries and household supplies

Wash, iron, and press clothing and linens

Discipline children as directed by parents

Maintain daily records of children's activities and health information

Ensure a safe and healthy home environment

Prepare and serve nutritious meals

Supervise and care for children

Accompany children to and from school and appointments

Attend to the emotional well-being of children

Assist with homework

Support food service planning with dietitians or nutritionists

Certifications Required
