Social Media Manager – NOC 11202

Salary: $36.06/hr

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Digital Marketing
Language Requirements: English
Experience: 3+ years’ experience in social media management, digital marketing, or communications, ideally within financial services, B2B, or junior mining industry.
Experience coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders (clients, agencies, PR teams) to deliver integrated campaigns.
Terms of Employment: Permanent/Full time – Monday - Friday
Start date: As soon as possible
Employment Conditions: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. Compliance with company confidentiality and data protection policies.
Work conditions: Full-time position, requiring availability during standard business hours with occasional evening or weekend work to support time-sensitive content, client deliverables.
Skills/Knowledge & Competencies:
- Omnichannel Community Growth: Advanced community-building strategies across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, Reddit, and YouTube, using a mix of organic tactics, paid media, and influencer collaboration
- Stakeholder & Client Operations: Proven expertise in managing complex stakeholder relationships—balancing client expectations, internal timelines, and cross-functional communication.
- Operational command of industry tools (e.g., Emplifi, GA4, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager) and integrating analytics into decision-making.
- Content Creation & Curation: Skilled in crafting compelling content, sourcing relevant industry news, and repurposing content to drive engagement and brand awareness.
Credentials required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Digital Marketing
JOB DUTIES:
- Key point person for coordinating internal and external stakeholders, including clients to manage the landscape of social media services – scheduling, finding and creating content across platforms, specifically FB, LinkedIn and Twitter
- Develop and manage social media strategy, working closely with the content team to uplift content and messaging for both Red Cloud and client digital portfolio
- Build the clients' media presence and create awareness of the brands through social media
- Manage the process and hygiene within the marketing stack and technology, to execute best in class community management and customer engagement
- The ability to work with cross-functional teams, has a knack for research, a sharp wit and a willingness to work during nonstandard business hours
- Coordinate with external Marketing, PR and Communications teams to ensure client brand consistency
- Collaborate with internal Corporate Access, Research, Sales, and Banking teams to streamline content
- Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists
- Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends
- Create digital marketing materials based on the upcoming projects/ current industry events/ client projects etc.
- Manage consistent social media postings/ blog posts/ articles for the clients' social media channels
- Manage and generate growth and engagement on the clients' social media platforms
- Prepare and oversee the preparation of social media and marketing brief
- Research and prepare communication materials for internal and external audiences
