Responsibilities
Tasks
- Analyze and follow welding process specifications to ensure accurate execution of project requirements.
- Operate manual, semi-automatic, and fully automated welding equipment to fabricate and assemble metal components according to design specifications.
- Read and analyze welding drawings, specifications, and blueprints to determine material requirements and welding procedures.
- Inspect and verify welds to ensure they meet industry standards and project specifications.
- Fabricate metal structures and components using various welding techniques.
- Handle and transport metal materials and finished products following company safety guidelines.
- Use manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to cut and prepare metal components for welding.
- Assess materials for weldability and determine the most effective welding techniques for each project.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and workplace procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Conduct quality checks on finished work to ensure durability and compliance with project requirements.
