Job description

Carterm Intermodal Logistics Inc., located at at 2700 Drew Rd, Mississauga, ON L4T 3C4   requires 1 Truck Drivers’ Supervisor on a Permanent full-time basis. Wage: $ 37 per hour for a minimum of 30 hours or above per week. 2 years to less than 3 years’ experience is required.  Additionally, 10 paid vacations and 10 sick leaves will be provided.

Job Duties:

• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of drivers who operate commercial motor vehicles.
• Monitor, coordinate and report work activities with other departments.
• Ensure compliance with all companies, clients, Ministry of Transportation and Department of Transportation (DOT) policies and procedures.
• Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve performance.
• Recommend personnel actions such as hiring.
• Answer telephone and electronic enquiries and relay telephone calls and messages
• Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems.
