MarketVan, a leading e-commerce platform specializing in Korean food imports, fresh produce, and authentic flavors, is seeking an Office Manager to join our team who can oversee office administrative procedures. We are passionate about bridging cultures and bringing the vibrant tastes of Korea to Canadian homes.

Position: Office Manager

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Wage: $35.00 - $37.00 per hour (Depending on working experience)

Position Available: 1

Working Hours: 30 hours per week

Starting Date of Employment: As Soon As Possible

Benefits: 4 % vacation pay or 10 business days of paid vacation

Work Location: 101-1206 Ridgeway Ave, Coquitlam, BC, V3J 1S9

 

Job Duties:

  • Plan and supervise the office administrative staff and procedures including reports, invoices, correspondences, and review, assess and perform new procedures related to administration;
  • Ensure work priorities and deadlines are met, and each procedure are followed as proper company method;
  • Analyze and organize administrative operations such as budgeting, contracting, and administrative management procedures;
  • Gether and organize data and prepare regular reports;
  • Support preparation of office operational budget and manage inventory and budgetary management;
  • Arrange necessary office services such as equipment maintenance, supplies, parking, security services and disposal assets;
  • Manage and follow the policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests with the access of information by government and privacy legislation.

 

Qualifications:

  • Completion of secondary school is required;
  • A university degree or college diploma in business or public administration may be required but is not mandatory;
  • At least 1 + year of work experience in a senior clerical or executive secretarial position related to office administration is required;
  • Working knowledge of English;
  • Strong team-oriented and problem–solving skills;
  • Great communication and prioritisation skills.
