Job Description:

• Develop designs and drawings for residential, industrial, institutional, and commercial buildings and recommend design changes.
• Preparing specifications and estimates.
• Manage the computer-assisted design (CAD) and drafting workstation.
• Overseeing the projects for construction specifications and cost estimations.
• Preparing and interpreting specifications.
• Supervise the work performed by drafters and provide them with the required training.
• Prepare contract and bidding documents.
• Finish the required documentation for drawing sets.
• Examine drawings for conformity and errors.

Requirements:

• Completion of High School education is required.
• Completion of a college program in drafting or a minimum of 2 years of work experience in the same field is required.
