Sarao and family are looking for a responsible, experienced, and caring individual to look after their child, aged 8 Years ” at their residence in Edmonton AB,  T6T 2R8

Designation: Child Caregiver
Vacancy: 1
Hours: Permanent/Full Time; 32 hr/Week
Language Requirement: English
Qualification: Secondary (High) School graduation certificate.
Experience: 1 month to 7 months
Wage: C$19.00/hr.
Location: Edmonton AB, T6T 2R8
Work Settings: Employers Home
Joining Date: As soon as possible

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Keeping good supervision on the safety and well-being of the child at all times.
• Encourage educational activities and provide learning opportunities.
• Keeping a close watch on children’s activities and provide supervision during play, homework, and their activities.
• Encourage physical activities, playtime and creative pursuits.
• Plan and supervise age-appropriate activities and outings.
• Offer emotional support and comfort to the child
• Provide regular updates to parents about the child’s activities, behaviours, and any concerns.
• Assist with routines such as getting dressed, brushing teeth, and having meals.
• May need to pick or drop kid from school.
• Foster a positive and nurturing environment
• Help child in developing good personal hygiene habits
• Prepare and serve meals and snacks, ensuring they are nutritious and appropriate for the children’s age
• Administer medications if needed, following parents’ instructions.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks relating to childcare, such as cleaning up after meals, tidying play area, and doing children’s laundry.
• May have to accompany to buy stationary or school related items for school projects.
