Responsibilities

• Monitor and detect disease and health problems in livestock and poultry animals.
• Set and monitor water lines, airflow, and temperature in pens and chicken coops.
• Perform or assist in performing breeding and grooming activities of farm animals.
• Perform general farm tasks as required to support daily operations and productivity.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• Set and regulate water lines, airflow, and temperature in barns, and chicken coops to maintain ideal animal living conditions.
• Examine produce for quality, maintain production records, and prepare for market.
• Clean and disinfect barns, pens, and poultry houses.
• Feed and tend livestock and poultry.
• Repair or assist in repairing farm equipment, fences, and structures.
• Maintain quality control standards for livestock and poultry.
