Job description
Wage: $34.50 per hour (full-time position, 35 hours per week)
Job Description:
- Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance of PCB (printed circuit boards)
- Reads drawings to determine work procedures
- Operates hydraulic jacks and forklift devices to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
- Adjusts and dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts.
- Install, troubleshoot and maintains pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls
- Determines changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring various instruments.
- Operates machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery
- Cleans, lubricates and performs other routine maintenance work on machinery
- Solder, clean and assemble various PCB
- Operate automatic and semi-automatic machines and monitor process equipment to fabricate electronic components
- Trains production workers on routine preventive maintenance.
- Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Job Skills & Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in mechanical engineering
- 2 to 3 years of experience working in maintenance & testing
- Ability to operate machinery and technical equipment
- In-depth knowledge of system maintenance
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment / Forklift licence required
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations
- Skilled in analyzing information and creating reports
