Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the work of staff involved in food preparation and portioning, ensuring efficiency and adherence to cafe standards.
• Monitor food preparation and service to guarantee that all food items meet the restaurant’s quality standards for taste, presentation, and consistency.
• Handle any customer concerns or complaints promptly, providing resolutions that uphold customer satisfaction and service excellence.
• Keep detailed records of stock levels, equipment maintenance, sales performance, and any wastage, and coordinate with suppliers for restocking.
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
• Set and update employee work schedules to cover all shifts and operational needs, allowing for efficient staffing throughout business hours.
• Train staff in job duties and sanitation and safety procedures.
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• Supervise the proper assembly and presentation of trays, ensuring items are correctly portioned and arranged for visual appeal.
• Check the delivery of food items to customers, verifying that the orders are accurate and meet presentation standards.
