Terminal supervisor - motor transport

• Location: 16 Cadetta Road, Brampton, ON L6P 0X4, Canada.
• Workplace information: On site (Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely).
• Salary: $37.00 to $39.00 per hour (To be negotiated) 
• Total work hours: 30 to 40 hours per Week
• Terms of employment: Permanent employment/Full time
• Work conditions: Day, Early Morning, Evening, Morning, Night, On Call, Overtime, To be determined, Weekend
• Start date: Starts as soon as possible
• Vacancies: 1 vacancy
• Languages: English
• Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Responsibilities:

• Supervise, coordinate and schedule driver routes and deliveries to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Monitor driver performance and compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Resolve driver issues and provide support for on-the-road challenges.
• Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained and meet regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular training sessions for drivers on safety and operational procedures.
• Manage driver logs and records for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate with customers regarding delivery status and any issues that arise.
• Supervise the loading and unloading of freight to ensure proper handling.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve delivery efficiency and customer satisfaction.
