2211119 Ontario Inc. O/A Punjabi By Nature located at 261 Oak Walk Drive, Oakville, ON, L6H 6M3 requires 2 Ethnic Bakers on Permanent/Full time basis. Wages are $ 28.50/ hour for a minimum of 30 hours or above per week. Must have 1 year to Less than 2 years of relevant experience. Additionally, 10 paid vacations and 10 days sick leaves will be given.

Duties Ethnic Baker

• Prepare dough for Indian cuisine, snacks with rigid spice mix and other ethnic herbs i.e. puff, pastries and sweet goods.
• Prepare dough and bake ethnic breads including Tandoor (Oven) breads. i.e Naan bread, Oven baked Missi Roti etc.
• Portion, roll, knead, cut or shape dough to form different types of ethnic breads and sweet goods as per the specified recipe.
• Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources and other equipment to tossing or hand-forming ethnic breads
• Bake mixed doughs and batters for Indian deserts, snacks and ethnic condiments.
• Prepare sauces related to baked goods.
• Ensure quality of products meets established standards and match the original taste and recipe.
• Organize, maintain the inventory, and order supplies for baking and ethnic ingredients used in Baking.
• Any other related tasks.
