JOB DESCRIPTION:

Falcon Motor Xpress Group of Companies Inc. is hiring FULL-TIME AZ Long-Haul Truck Drivers to run inter-province & US runs. These are permanent full-time positions based out of its office located at 6086 Mayfield Rd., Caledon ON L7C 0Z7. The Long-Haul Truck Drivers will be expected to deliver Dry Van, Reefer and flatbed freight between Canada and the United States.

JOB DUTIES:

Operate & drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials

Drive as single driver or part of a two-person team

Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment

Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption

Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection

Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo

Load and unload goods

Receive and relay information to central dispatch

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)

Driver's License (Class 1 or A) & Air Brake (Z) Endorsement

Documentation Knowledge

Driver Logbook, Bill of lading, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Trans-border documentation, Accident, or incident reports.

Transportation/Travel Information

Willing to travel cross-border; Willing to travel for extended periods; Willing to travel overnight.

• Experience: None
• Education: Some High School

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:

• Wages: $28.40/hour
