Laptop Repairs and Networking Solutions Inc. is looking for one position of Fibre Optic Cable Splicer for their location at 55 Timbercove Rd, Brampton ON L6Y 0Y3.

Job Title:  Fibre Optic Cable Splicer

Nature of Employment: Permanent Full Time Position

Salary: $ 34.50 CAD per hour for 35 hours/week. Overtime pay at 1.5 times regular rate of pay after 44 hours. May be required to work some weekends

Job duties:

• Assemble and install fibre optics cable
• Test fibre optic cables for proper performance
• Splicer fibre optic cables using fusion splicing and mechanical splicing techniques
• Troubleshoot and repair fiber optic cables
• Read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine installation requirements
• Calibrate and adjust equipment as needed
• Maintain records of work performed

Language: English

Education: Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate

Experience:  2 years to less than 3 years
