Queen’s Elite Academy (QEA) is an international high school that offers culturally enriched and academically challenging university preparatory programs for students. We are deeply rooted in the education industry with operations in the field of global online education, brick and mortar school, education strategy consulting, and international student education and training.
As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will collaborate closely with our management, actively providing regulatory guidance, ensuring compliance, and enhance our functional deliverables continuously.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and analyzing company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Providing supervision and assistance regarding organizational structure, operation methods, and management strategies tailored to various regulatory frameworks, and providing managerial recommendations based on research conducted and analytical reports.
- Drafting, preparing, and reviewing legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and briefs, aligning with legal requirements and best practices in education.
- Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence related to legal administrative matters, including emails, letters, and faxes, and ensuring timely responses.
- Identifying and assessing potential compliance risks and developing strategies to mitigate these risks, working proactively to identify and address compliance issues before they escalate.
- Organizing and maintaining physical and electronic files for legal cases, ensuring that all documents are accurately filed and readily accessible.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, maintaining positive relationships, and facilitating communication to address inquiries, inspections, and other regulatory interactions.
- Collaborating with institutional leadership to develop long-term educational strategies that align with regulatory requirements, market trends, and the institution's mission, vision, and values.
Qualifications & Skills
- University degree in business management, regulatory, law, or a related discipline is required; Advanced degree, post-graduate diploma or certificate from a related program is considered an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in regulatory, law, business management, or a related field.
- Experience in identifying and tracking regulatory changes and clearly and concisely communicating compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify compliance risks and opportunities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts effectively.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with related tools and platforms.
