Pacha Carpentry Inc.

We are currently searching for a Framing Carpenter.

Work Location:

Various sites in the GTA

 

Duties:

  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
  • Survey building locations and levels
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems
  • Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments

 

Applicants must be able to demonstrate extensive framing carpentry experience.

 

You will be required to train apprentices and labours.

 

Requirements:

  • Two to three years of work experience.

 

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Handling heavy loads, large workload, Physically demanding and Work with minimal supervision

Equipment and machinery experience

  • Hand tools

Own tools/equipment

  • Tools, Steel-toed safety boots and Hard hat

 

Work Site Environment:

At heights, confined spaces, noisy, dusty

Work Setting:

Residential and Commercial

 

Terms of Employment:

Permanent Position/40 hours per week

Should be available to work a variable work schedule

 

Hours of Work:

From Monday to Friday from 7 am to 3 pm

From $ 32.50 to $ 36.00 per hour
